April 2025
Renaissance Dermatology proudly hosted a highly successful GP Educational Night, welcoming local general practitioners for an evening of education, collaboration, and networking. The night was designed to share the latest advancements in dermatological care while strengthening the connection between GPs and our specialist team.
We were thrilled with the strong turnout and the enthusiastic engagement from all who attended.
Topics Covered:
-
Mohs Surgery: Dr Sara de Menezes, our dermatologic surgeon provided an in-depth look at Mohs micrographic surgery — the gold standard for treating certain skin cancers with precision and tissue preservation. Discussions included indications, referral processes, and recovery expectations.
-
Cosmetic and Laser Treatments for Skin Conditions: Our experts presented the advanced in cosmetic and laser technologies for treating common and complex skin conditions such as pigmentation, acne scarring, rosacea, and vascular lesions. We shared real-world cases and tips on patient selection.

Live Demonstrations & Complimentary Treatments
A highlight of the evening was our live demonstrations, where attendees had the opportunity to see PRP, cosmetic and laser treatments in action. We also offered complimentary treatments, allowing GPs to experience firsthand for some of the procedures we offer — a valuable way to build confidence when discussing these options with their patients.
We were delighted to have the support of several leading skincare companies, who generously contributed to the evening with take-home show bags for all attendees. Special thanks to La Roche-Posay, CeRave, Dermocosmetica, Melacellular, QV, and Propaira.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to all the GPs who attended and made the evening a success. Your enthusiasm and thoughtful questions made for a dynamic and enriching experience.
